Ben is a Milton dad and volunteer who believes that our town functions best when we come together to support each other. He has four kids in the Milton schools having experience at Tucker, Glover, Collicot, Pierce, and Milton High School. Ben is running for Select Board to ensure Milton is a place where everyone feels not only included, but heard. Milton is a special place, and Ben believes that our best days as a town are still ahead of us. As a member of the Select Board, Ben will be dedicated to making sure that we navigate issues in a positive and people-centered way that unites our community.

 

Ben’s priorities are finding ways to broaden the tax base to help fund improvements to town services, including the schools; encouraging a thoughtful, transparent, and cost-focused approach to growth and development in Milton; and ensuring Milton’s roads, bike paths, and sidewalks are safe and navigable for all. 

 

In Milton, Ben has served on Town Meeting and the Milton Foundation for Education.  He has volunteered at the Milton Farmers’ Market. He and his fiancée, Jen Meyers, perform music regularly at Porchfest, and just this past year performed at a fundraiser for the Milton Library. Their children are active in the arts and in sports, including the music and theater programs at both Pierce and MHS.
